Siobhan
Siobhan Coombs has over a decade of comic retail experience, and a lifetime of comic book love. She is co-organiser of the comic convention Brazen and has judged the Australian Comic Arts Awards twice.
Siobhan is especially committed to encouraging and supporting the next generation of comic creators through workshops and visits to primary and high schools. Siobhan founded Cockatoo Comics in 2021.
Annie
Annie Huang is an artist, content creator, storyteller and mental health advocate living on and working from Wallumedegal land. They have illustrated and written their own published comic but have only interacted with comic culture from it’s fringes and are learning along the way. Annie handles the technicalities of the making and sharing of Cockatoo Comics, and is committed to broadening everyone’s expectations of what a comic can be while they broaden their own.
