About SCAMP

The Sydney Comics Arts Market Place (SCAMP) is a one-day festival that's dedicated to comic books, the people who love them and the people who make them. After a hugely successful inaugural event in 2024, we’re excited to be back for our second year!

Featuring some of the best established and emerging creators from Sydney and beyond, SCAMP is a place where artists, publishers and fans can share their love of comics. Whether it's graphic novels, self-published mini-comics or everything in between, SCAMP aims to celebrate everything that makes the medium great.

This year SCAMP will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Leichhardt Town Hall.
The event will run from 10am-4pm.

Why be part of SCAMP in 2025?

 

Well, just in our first year running:

  • We had over 300 unique attendees

  • We also had 55 creators exhibiting from NSW, ACT, VIC and WA 

  • 86% of exhibitors were happy with event attendance 

  • 80% of exhibitors were happy with sales

  • 95% of exhibitors said they would exhibit again - and we would love to
    see you again!

Submitting your application means you agree that:

  • Comics will be the main item(s) you sell on the day (more than 60% of your table).

  • You will abide by the terms and conditions of SCAMP (linked below).

Are you applying on behalf of yourself, someone else or a publisher/distro?

If you are applying on behalf of someone under 18 years of age, they must be accompanied by an adult over 18 at all times on the day.

Would you like a half table or full table?
Half table - $40
Full table - $80

Publishers and distros can contact us if a double table is required.

We will do our best :)

Do you have Public Liability Insurance for the day?
Yes
No

PLI with up to $20m cover is required for this event. If you need to purchase it for the day there are options at Duck for Cover (unaffiliated link).

About Your Work

If your work is child appropriate, we will have signs for your table to direct our younger audiences to you on the day.

SCAMP is mainly active on Instagram.

Public Liability Insurance

Proof of valid and current public liability insurance for up to $20mil is compulsory for all exhibitors. Duck For Cover (unaffiliated) has affordable options for individuals and groups.

Half table - $40
Full table - $80

Helpers

Any stallholder under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 18. Please email scamp@cockatoocomics.com if you would like to arrange an exhibitor badge for max. 2 table helpers.

Exhibitor Displays

Large displays over 60cm (from table height) are not permitted at SCAMP. Please do not  bring large stand up  banners or print cages. Backing boards and power will not be provided by SCAMP.

Adult Content

SCAMP is an all-ages friendly event, so while adult content is permitted please make sure it is displayed as such.

Cockatoo Comics is operating on the unceded land of the Cameraygal people.
